Welcome to Buttahs by Bob. By browsing or purchasing from this store, you agree to the terms below. Please read them — they explain how we work and what you can expect from us.

1. Who we are

Buttahs by Bob is a small, family-run business based in Los Angeles, California, offering handcrafted whipped body buttahs and related products. Contact: buttahsbybob@gmail.com.

2. Using this store

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to provide accurate, current information at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including orders that appear fraudulent or that we're unable to fulfill.

3. Products, pricing & availability

Our products are made in small batches by hand. Slight variation in color, texture, and scent strength between batches is normal and is a characteristic of handmade goods, not a defect.

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We do our best to display accurate pricing and product information, but errors can occur. If an item is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Product images are representative. Because every batch is whipped by hand, the jar you receive may differ slightly in appearance.

4. Cosmetic products — important

Our products are cosmetics for external use only. They are not drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Nothing on this site is medical advice.

Always patch test before first use. Apply a small amount to your inner arm and wait several hours. Discontinue use immediately if irritation, redness, or discomfort occurs.

Allergen notice: our products contain sweet almond oil (a tree nut) and fragrance. Please review the full ingredient list on every product page before purchasing. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, are pregnant, or have a skin condition, consult a healthcare professional before use.

You are responsible for reviewing ingredients before purchase and use. We are not liable for adverse reactions to ingredients that are fully disclosed on our product pages.

5. Orders, preorders & event pickup

Placing an order is an offer to purchase; your order is accepted when we confirm it. Preorder items are made after the preorder window closes and ship on the timeline listed on the product page. Event pickup orders must be collected at the specified event. See our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy for full details.

6. Payment

Payment is processed securely through Shopify and its payment providers. We do not store your full payment details. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including our brand names, logos, product names, formulations, photography, and written copy — is the property of Buttahs by Bob and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. Character-inspired products in The Book Lovers Collection are produced in collaboration with elle kayson, and those characters and titles remain the property of their author. You may not reproduce, resell, or use our content or formulations commercially without written permission.

8. Third-party links

This site may link to third-party websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, products, or practices.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buttahs by Bob is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Your continued use of the store means you accept the current terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
