How a chef ended up whipping buttah
Unc didn't come to this from skincare. He came to it from the kitchen.
A chef spends his life on the things most people never think about: what heat does, what order you add things in, why the same ingredients turn out flat one day and unforgettable the next. He knows that whipping is not stirring. That temperature is a decision. That balance is the whole job.
He made the first scent for himself. Zaddy's Home™ wasn't built to sell — it was simply what he wanted to smell like. Then women started stopping him to ask what he had on. That is how a personal recipe became a business.
The buttah came from the same instinct. What was on the shelf didn't work for the skin in his own house — heavy, greasy, ashy on melanated skin, and scented like a candle aisle. So he did what a chef does. He built it from scratch, weighed every gram, and threw out anything that wasn't right. Too greasy, start over. Grainy, start over. Ashy on deep skin, absolutely start over.
Then he treated fragrance the way he treats a dish — top, heart, base. Aroma, texture, anticipation, and the way one unforgettable note can bring a whole memory rushing back.
